I believe every patient deserves to be treated with respect while they receive high quality care. My patient's health is my number one priority.
Born in Three Rivers, Michigan, the middle child in a family of four children, Jordan always wanted to make the world a better place.
"I realized medicine was my calling while working as a hospice volunteer," Jordan said. "I was able to see how having a positive caring attitude could impact another person. People are what draw me to medicine."
Jordan was drawn to cardiovascular surgery as a specialty because of the complexity of the conditions that require you to be at the top of your game constantly. He finds great satisfaction in meeting the challenge and directly impacting patients so significantly.
His approach to care prioritizes listening to patients more, and talking less.
"I believe patients are often misunderstood, and taking a few extra minutes to listen can really go a long way," Jordan said. "I also believe that for a patient to reach their health goals, a team effort between patient and provider is necessary.
In his free time, Jordan enjoys running, hiking and traveling to new cities.
