Life experience led Joshua to his profession. His mother died of cancer, and Joshua underwent counseling to deal with the trauma.
"I chose nursing as a career because it gives me the ability to help people when they need help the most," he said. "I chose psychiatry because I want to help my patients, just like my psychiatrist helped me."
Joshua is pursuing his Doctor of Nursing Practice degree at the University of Missouri-Kansas City. He joined OSF HealthCare because he shares the passion of the OSF Mission to serve people in need with the greatest care and love.
