Josie loves serving a community she has always called home. She feels fortunate to work at a health care organization that offers access to cutting-edge technology to fight cancer and never wavers from a commitment to serve with the greatest care and love.

“A cancer diagnosis is overwhelming,” she said. “I want patients to find comfort in knowing they have a whole team of providers supporting them through their journey.”

Josie became interested in medicine in college. Science intrigues her, but she also enjoys building relationships with patients and being part of their health care journey. While studying to become a physician’s assistant, she fell in love with women’s health and decided to specialize in gynecologic oncology.

In her free time, Josie enjoys traveling, quilting, tending to her houseplants and spending time with her husband and cat.
