I strive to provide the best possible care to my patients with compassion and dedication.
Dr. Hernandez has been dedicated to caring for the health and wellness of the Dixon community for over 20 years. Growing up in Venezuela, he developed a passion for helping others, which inspired his journey into medicine. He chose Family Medicine for the variety of conditions he manages, along with the opportunity to build lasting relationships with his patients.
"I believe that empowering my patients to take an active part in their health is key to providing exceptional care. Together, we can work toward better outcomes,” he said.
Dr. Hernandez values his family deeply. His wife, Jennifer, is a nurse practitioner in Chicago, and together they have two daughters, Grace and Camille.
He enjoys staying active as a second Dan Black Belt in karate, exercising daily, collecting Star Wars LEGO sets and reading science fiction.
