“I believe health care is a team approach. It’s my responsibility to provide information. That information allows patients to make educated decisions about their health.”
Kathleen believes her philosophy of care leads to better outcomes.
“When patients are actively involved in the decision-making process, they take ownership of the care plan and see results,” she said.
It’s the OSF HealthCare Mission that drew Kathleen back to the organization. She has seen firsthand how it helps patients spiritually and physically navigate their way to a healthier lifestyle. Coming back to Peoria after nearly a decade away was also a move to be closer to family and friends.
“Peoria has so many great opportunities for growth and networking,” she said. “I love the fact that no matter where you go, you will almost certainly run into someone you know.”
That feeling of comfort is what she hopes her patients feel when they see her in the office.
Kathleen is married with two grown daughters with kids of their own. She loves to be involved with the community and is an avid sports fan. She can often be seen watching Bradley, University of Illinois and Notre Dame games.
