To provide patient-centered care and develop a strong relationship with her patients.
Kaylene attended nursing school at Saint Francis Medical Center College of Nursing. She had a great experience while earning her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and enjoyed the atmosphere of a teaching hospital. As a result, she chose to stay with OSF HealthCare following nursing school and found her passion helping patients in the allergy clinic.
“Shared decision-making coupled with holistic care is my priority,” she said. “I will listen to each patient’s concerns and work with them to develop a care plan. I also focus on helping patients commit to a healthy lifestyle for the best possible outcomes for a happy and meaningful life.”
Kaylene grew up on a multigenerational family farm in Stanford, Illinois, where her childhood revolved around taking care of farm animals, 4-H and horseback riding. She is very close to her family and enjoys spending time with them. She also has a passion for fitness and nutrition.
