A Dallas native, Dr. Kelly A. Kiser attended Southern Methodist University on a full academic scholarship, followed by medical school at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School, where she graduated at the top of her class with a 4.0 GPA. She completed her ophthalmology residency at Washington University in St. Louis, where she developed her passion for the precise techniques and life-changing results of modern cataract surgery. She then completed a fellowship in cataract and refractive surgery through the World College of Refractive Surgery with preceptor Lance Kugler, MD, in Omaha, Nebraska.
Dr. Kiser has authored journal articles in publications including the American Journal of Ophthalmology and the Ocular Surface, and she has spoken at meetings across the country, such as the American Society of Cataract & Refractive Surgeons.
She views cataract surgery as an art and is dedicated to helping patients achieve their best vision with freedom from contacts and glasses.
Dr. Kiser lives with her husband, their son and their dog and cat. She enjoys running, outdoor activities and reading in her free time.
