Kelly Martin, an Alton native, studied nursing at Lewis and Clark Community College and went on to earn her master's degree as a nurse practitioner at Southern Illinois University – Edwardsville.
"I grew up in Alton, and this community has a lot to offer," Kelly said. "I love the rich history and the great diversity."
From a young age, Kelly had a natural love for helping others. She knew nursing was the right career for her, and working for OSF HealthCare makes her feel like she is part of a family.
"I chose family medicine because not only do you get to interact with a patient, you get the opportunity to interact and care for an entire family," she said.
Kelly is married and has six children. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, camping and boating. She also loves crafting.
