I am a patient-oriented provider. I listen carefully to my patients and tailor their medical care to their specific needs.
Dr. Najera originally got into medicine for his interest in sports medicine. However, as his medical schooling continued, he realized physical medicine and rehabilitation were for him after completing an internship in general surgery.
"I love the hands-on and technical skills aspect of my specialty," he said. "It is tremendously gratifying helping people with their pain."
Dr. Najera emphasizes the importance of listening to his patients.
"I am very personable and easy to talk to," he said. "I listen to my patients and tailor their care with their best interests at the forefront."
Dr. Najera was born in the Philippines. When he was 3 years old, his family immigrated to Southern California, where he grew up. He is a proud husband and father of three children and two golden retrievers.
