Laura believes in providing individualized and holistic care bolstered by clear communication and patient education. She is committed to treating each patient with special attention to spiritual, emotional and psychosocial needs in addition to caring for their physical well-being.
Laura began her career as a registered nurse with OSF HealthCare and appreciates the patient-centered care approach. After advancing her education and experiencing other health systems, she was happy to return to OSF as her values and beliefs closely align with that of the health care system.
“During an appointment with me, I get to know my patients and offer individualized care and build a rapport to maximize patient outcomes and experiences,” she said. “I want my patients to know they can feel comfortable expressing their concerns to me, and that I will always treat them as if they were a member of my own family.”
Laura is married to her high school sweetheart, and they are proud parents of three girls. During their free time, they enjoy tent camping and hiking. Her daughters play sports, and Laura helps coach when needed. Their family also volunteers with local organizations to fundraise or bring awareness to local groups and causes.
