I believe a patient and their provider are partners in determining care. It's not my place to judge or tell a patient what to do, but rather to offer guidance and help them make the best decision for their health.
Laura was drawn to medicine when a relative unexpectedly became ill. She saw her loved ones navigate their health journey with the help of various providers working in tandem.
"I wanted to be able to do that for others," she said. "And help empower them along the way."
Laura wants to understand the thoughts and concerns of each patient so she can figure out how to best help them.
"I care about my patients as individuals," she said.
Laura is married with three kids. She loves the outdoors and staying active with running, hiking, biking and skiing.
