My priority is providing patient-centered care based on that patient's specific health care needs and desires. My goal is to offer a positive interaction and communication, while providing the best care possible.
Lauren MacCracken was born and raised in Ottawa, and she always wanted to serve the people of the community she grew up knowing and loving.
"I love how close knit and grateful the local community is," Lauren said. "They genuinely appreciate the ability to visit with a provider close to home."
For her, cardiology is an interesting specialty because the treatment guidelines and options are always evolving, allowing providers to help patients live longer, healthier lives than ever before. That is why Lauren believes it is extremely important to stay up-to-date on the most recent guidelines.
"There is no greater feeling than having a positive impact on another person's life," she said.
Lauren enjoys traveling, and in her spare time she can typically be found hiking around the area with her husband and dog.
