My goal is to give my patients quality care while making them feel like part of my family.
Lauren’s goal is to treat her patients with compassion, respect and equality while providing the best medical care within her scope of practice. She is proud to work at OSF HealthCare as her Catholic virtues align with the Mission, Vision and Values.
“My goal during appointments is to make my patients feel comfortable and heard during their visit,” she said. “I enjoy listening to patient's stories, even when they may not pertain to the reason for the visit itself.”
Lauren chose the field of medicine because of her interest in science and desire to care for people. Growing up, she always enjoyed science and was fascinated by anatomy and physiology. While she had thoughts of becoming a teacher or physician, she decided to pursue the career of physician assistant, as it would better align with her family life goals.
Lauren grew up in Bloomingdale, Illinois. She met her husband, Jacob, while on the Valparaiso University track team, where they were both throwers. They were married in 2022. In her free time, she enjoys lifting, reading, visiting friends and family and spending time with her two cats.
