Dr. Embree chose family medicine long ago when undergoing treatment for a rare illness.
"The doctor not only treated my physical illness but took the time to explore and calm my mother's anxieties," she recalls. "I remember thinking, 'Wow, that doctor is doing more than treating a sick girl. He's helping my whole family.' After that, I knew I wanted to do the same."
Dr. Embree strives to address all of your questions when you come in with a concern. She uses research-based medicine and will help you set attainable goals for your health. And she's a big proponent of yearly wellness exams.
"You'd be surprised how useful they are," she said. "It helps you get the best care possible, plus I love seeing my healthy patients regularly!"
When not in the office, Dr. Embree enjoys cooking, baking and a quiet house early in the morning. She is married with three kids.
