Lena Alia, MD, is a dedicated physician who chose to work for OSF HealthCare because of its commitment to providing exceptional patient care in a supportive environment.

Fluent in Arabic, Lena is especially excited to serve the Arabic-speaking population in her community, in addition to providing top-quality care to underserved patients.

During appointments, Lena prioritizes getting to know her patients, understanding their concerns and tailoring treatment plans to suit their needs. She values building lifelong relationships.

Lena specializes in treating PCOS, endometriosis, fibroids, abnormal pap smears, infertility, minimally invasive hysterectomies and premenstrual dysphoric disorder.

Growing up in the Southwest Suburbs of Chicago, Lena discovered her passion for medicine at a young age. Inspired by accompanying her grandparents to doctor appointments and translating for them, she was drawn to helping others. This passion led her to specialize in women's health as an OB/GYN, where she can provide comprehensive care from adolescence to menopause. Lena loves educating her patients and watching them use that information to make good decisions moving forward.

Outside of medicine, Lena enjoys spending time in nature and volunteering with organizations like Arab American Family Services and participating in medical missions abroad. She is also the oldest of five children, highlighting her commitment to family and community.
