Providing high-quality care is the most important aspect of my practice. Our team works hard from the scheduling process throughout the exam, testing, and scheduling your next appointment. Each patient is treated with the greatest respect and care.
Dr. Auer never had to look far for role models.
"I am from an extensive family of doctors that includes two great uncles, two uncles, my father, my brother, a niece, a nephew, five first cousins and three-second cousins," Dr. Auer said.
"My father was a general surgeon in a rural community setting. He was my greatest mentor. I developed a passion for medicine early in life through experiencing his passion for learning and improving people's lives."
She uses a team approach to provide thorough and comprehensive care.
"Personalized patient care is most important. We review the patient's past medical, surgical, social histories and medications," Dr. Auer said.
"A typical appointment can take anywhere from one and a half to two hours, so I can examine the eye from front to back and review all the findings with the patient and their family."
Dr. Auer married her high school sweetheart 28 years ago, and they have two teenage boys. She enjoys spending time outdoors with her family, boating, waterskiing, wake surfing, snow skiing and snowmobiling.
