Lisa Fritcher, originally from Southern California, moved to Illinois after many family trips to central Illinois. She attended the University of Southern California in Los Angeles, California, to complete her physician assistant degree.
Lisa knew in grade school that she wanted to pursue a career in medicine. After her undergrad, she worked at a local health department where her manager was a physician assistant. She learned more about the profession and decided to become a physician assistant.
"I enjoy providing continuity of care and establishing a personal relationship with patients," Lisa says. "I like hearing their life stories."
Lisa appreciates that OSF HealthCare is known for providing excellent care, putting patients first and "serving with the greatest care and love."
Lisa is married to her husband, James, and has two young daughters that are 4 and 6 years old. Whether attending a local event, catching a St. Louis Blues hockey game or watching live music, Lisa and her family love to spend time together.
