My goal is to provide compassionate, individualized care to every patient. I want to educate people on the importance of their treatment plan so they are equipped to make informed decisions about their health.
Lucas places a lot of importance on education. And he wants to work together with each patient he sees.
“If someone doesn’t understand the plan we’ve put together and the why behind it, they are much less likely to follow it,” he said. “We both have to be on the same page.”
Lucas has always been fascinated with the human body and how it works. He also loves caring for people. These two things together made medicine the perfect career choice for him.
“I enjoy treating patients throughout their health journey,” he said. “Primary care allows me to do that.”
Being back in his hometown is a bonus. Lucas grew up in Alton, and he’s excited to be giving back to the community in this way. He is married and is an avid St. Louis Cardinals and Blues fan.
