Dr. Awad provides patient-centered care to better serve the community while working with a diverse patient population.

“I am dedicated to patient advocacy and developing a strong relationship with my patients,” she said. “I will provide up-to-date patient-centered medical care that targets the patient's life as a whole.”  

Dr. Awad’s biggest draw to medicine was the ability to serve her community in a way that is intellectually stimulating and ever changing. Rheumatologists are physicians that are often part of a patient's care team for the long term.

Dr. Awad’s areas of expertise include rheumatoid arthritis, lupus, osteoarthritis, osteoporosis, gout, myositis, vasculitis and ultrasound guided joint injections.
