Marcia knew from childhood she would be a nurse and follow in the footsteps of her mother, who was a Navy nurse, community health nurse and devoted mother.
She looks forward to working with the care team at the new OSF Medical Group – Family Medicine location is Urbana to develop a practice devoted to the health care needs of the community.
Marcia chose family medicine because it encompasses the physical and social aspects that directly influence the health and well-being of individuals.
"I love making a positive difference in people's lives," she said. "I will always listen to a patient's concerns and develop a plan of care we mutually agree on."
When not working, Marcia spends time with her three children and enjoys biking, hiking, traveling and volunteering for community activities.
