I want to provide excellent patient care while maintaining honest, thorough communication with my patients and their families.
When Dr. Adair was six years old, he helped his mother work at a low-income clinic in the inner city of St. Louis, MO. He attributes his mother and the experience to molding him into the physician he is today.
“I observed the interactions between the physicians and patients and saw how important compassionate care is,” Dr. Adair said. “They made a significant difference in the lives of every person they saw and meant a great deal to the community.”
Dr. Adair loves being a surgeon and working with his hands to provide tangible solutions to serious problems. However, he also believes the patient-physician relationship is an essential part.
“Once we have a diagnosis and surgical plan, I want to make sure I have answered all their questions,” Dr. Adair said. “Having an open dialogue and informed expectations is key to developing a healthy relationship and positive outcomes.”
He enjoys traveling and attending sporting events with his wife and children, cooking and exercise. His favorite hobby is raising exotic fish.
