Melissa began her career in medicine as a respiratory therapist. She was drawn to health care because she enjoyed working with patients during their time of need. Later, she furthered her education to become a physician assistant. She chose neurology as a specialty because it is a fascinating field with complex patients.

Melissa enjoys working as part of a team to provide excellent care. Her goal is to focus on each patient’s needs during their visit. She makes sure to prioritize their main concerns and address them fully. Melissa loves “working with patients to come up with the best treatment plan to meet their medical needs.”

Melissa grew up in the Midwest. Her husband is a nurse practitioner, and they have two boys and two Ragdoll cats. In her spare time, she enjoys watching movies, reading, hiking and playing with her sons.
