Dr. Donenberg grew up in the northern Chicago suburbs, but enjoys the tight-knit community that the Ottawa area offers. He pursued a career in medicine because he wanted to spend his life helping others. I've always been fascinated with the heart and feel that cardiovascular medicine offers a chance to make an enormous impact on the lives of my patients, he said. Dr. Donenberg not only likes the great people with whom he works, he also admires that everyone is focused on improving patient health outcomes. When he's not busy with patient care, he teaches in the residency and fellowship programs at Rush Medical College in Chicago. Dr. Donenberg is a husband and a father, and enjoys spending time with his family.
