Dr. Michael Czerkes grew up in Charlevoix, a small town on the northern shore of Lower Michigan. He grew up with a nurse for a mother and a pharmacist for a father, which influenced him into the medical profession. His passion is delivering babies and helping couples struggling with infertility.

He uses the Creighton Model FertilityCare™ System and NaProTechnology™ to promote a fuller understanding of a woman's cycle to achieve optimum health. NaPro is a women’s health science that monitors and maintains a woman’s reproductive and gynecological health. It provides medical and surgical treatments that cooperate with the reproductive system.

For him, OSF HealthCare provides a work environment with a Mission that aligns with his priorities.

Dr. Czerkes believes in treating patients with openness and honesty and takes a teamwork approach to patient care.

Dr. Czerkes and his wife, Heidi, have six children and are heavily involved in their church community. In his free time, he enjoys spending time outdoors with his family.
