Michelle knew she wanted to care for women and growing families from the moment she witnessed her first delivery at just 14 years old. Inspired by her mother, a labor and delivery nurse, she pursued a career in health care, starting as a patient care technician before becoming a registered nurse. 

After 13 years in labor and delivery, her passion for obstetric care led her to become a midwife, allowing her to provide even more comprehensive support to women throughout their health care journeys.

“I want my patients to feel comfortable, supported and heard,” said Michelle. “I strive to provide them with the information and education they need to make informed decisions, and I will always advocate for them.”

A Rockford, Illinois, native, Michelle is dedicated to expanding access to midwifery care in her community. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband and three sons.
