Michelle joined OSF HealthCare in October 2016. She has lived in Pekin for more than 10 years with her husband, son, daughter and a dog named Thomas Jefferson.
She decided to practice at OSF HealthCare Center for Health – Pekin because of the location.
"My family has settled our life here within the community," she said. "My children go to school here, my family worships here and I view my career as another avenue to serve my community."
Michelle decided to be an Advanced Practice Nurse because, "I'm passionate about being able to treat the family as a whole – from the start of life to the aging population."
In addition to her medical education from Saint Francis Medical Center College of Nursing, she also has a bachelor of arts degree in Biblical Studies.
Michelle loves to sing and go shopping, "often at the same time."
As for advice for her patients, Michelle quotes Mahatma Gandhi, "Be the change you want to see in the world."
