Why did you want to become a pediatric hospitalist?
Working with a dedicated group of physicians in a challenging environment is more gratifying than anything else.
Hospitalist is a perfect role to exercise my learning and push things further.
We are in business of keeping our kids healthy and that to me is some thing I am very committed to through my role as hospitalist.
Tell us something interesting about yourself.
I've lived in population of over 9M to a mere 165K. I find this contrast very interesting.
Why did you choose Peoria to practice medicine?
Availability of corn. . . what else? When I interviewed for OSF, I just fell in love with its people, their courtesy and simplicity, and the over all serenity of Peoria. Me and my spouse feel, it is where we would like to raise our family.
What are your hobbies and interests outside of medicine?
Traveling, interior designing and decoration, making a mess of things at home (as per my spouse).
Is there anything else you want the community and families to know?
Prevention is the key towards modern/financially viable living. I strongly recommend to stay updated about your health and being appropriately concerned can help you avoid lot of future problems.
OSF offers amazing programs for its community and I would love to interact and provide what ever help I can.
