Dr. Paddy was born in Trichy, India and raised in Southern India. It was the influence of a neighbor he knew during high school that led Pasupathy to enter the medical field. He was an intern serving his rotation in the intensive care unit when he first took an interest in cardiology. Dr. Paddy's wife is a home maker, and together they have two children. Their oldest daughter is marketing executive in New York City, while their son is a physician-scientist in the cardiology division at University of California, San Francisco. In his spare time, Dr. Paddy enjoys watching tennis and football.

I got my first pacemaker 10 months ago. My heart doctor prior to that one was different. He had been too busy to give me the care that I needed. I got Dr. Paddy emergently at that time.Dr. Paddy has always been thorough and knows me and my problems. He gives great referrals as needed. His staff does also. He is a keeper!.
