"Our facility is a rural office in Minonk, and I love the rural, small town setting," she said. "Our staff is wonderful to work with."
After working as a registered nurse in the Intensive Care Unit and Emergency Department, Patricia was ready to further her education and become a nurse practitioner.
"When I got into medicine, it was always my goal to make a difference," she said. "I like the variety of a family practice and having the opportunity to develop relationships with the whole family and getting to know them."
Her goal in treating patients is to care for them the way she would want her family to be treated.
"An appointment with me is casual, but educational as well," Patricia said. "I want the patient to leave the office educated about their treatment plan and for them to know they can feel comfortable calling with any further questions or concerns."
Patricia has been married to her childhood sweetheart for 46 years. They have three children and eight grandchildren. When not working, she enjoys home decorating.
