I believe in health promotion and prevention. I strive to work together as a team with every patient to come up with creative solutions that fit their lifestyle and needs to keep them healthy and happy.
PooJa was born and raised in Dunlap, Illinois, where she lives with her husband – also a Dunlap native – two sons and a dog.
She was inspired to pursue a career in health care by the example of her grandmother, who was a home care nurse for children. Plus, as someone who never stops learning, PooJa enjoys how health care is ever changing, allowing her to keep learning new information and technology.
"I will take the time to speak with you and discuss your concerns and questions in a way you will understand," PooJa said. "I will also be on time and not keep you waiting. I like getting to know the people I am treating on a personal level, so come ready to tell me an interesting fact about yourself."
In her free time, PooJa likes participating in workout classes and fitness boot camps. She loves outdoor walks, spending time on the beach, boating and snapping photos of her family and friends.
