Pediatrics was a natural draw for Rachael. "I love kids. Their imagination is endless and they love unconditionally without reservation."

She was drawn to nursing while in high school. "My grandfather was diagnosed with cancer and that really drove my decision," Rachael said. "My overall personality is geared toward helping people."

Treating the whole person – spiritually, emotionally and physically – is important to Rachael. "During appointments with me, I address the current problem or concern, provide anticipatory guidance and health promotion and collaborate with the patient and family to find the best outcomes that meet their overall goals," she said.

Married with two teen daughters, Rachael participates in the Outreach Program at her church. When not working, she enjoys watching movies and reading.
