I want my patients to know that over the course of our encounters, I will do my best to educate, encourage and advocate for every one of them to improve both their quality of life and their understanding of their health and medical conditions.
Dr. Atallah grew up in the community she now serves.
"Being able to treat and take care of my community members has been one of the highlights of my professional career," she said.
As cliché as it may sound, Dr. Atallah went into medicine because she always wanted to make people feel better about themselves while improving their overall health.
"I hope to accomplish this by educating my patients and by working with them to manage their medical conditions. Each individual is unique and so are their experiences, symptoms and treatment options," Dr. Atallah said.
"When looking to diagnose a patient, it takes the right set of ears, an open, curious mind and a caring heart to truly put the pieces of the puzzle together. I believe it is my inquisitive nature that has aided in the diagnosis of unique conditions for my patients over the years."
Appointments with Dr. Atallah are very thorough. Prior to seeing a patient, she reviews their chart, labs, notes and any imaging results.
"I empower my patients to be active players in their own care as well as provide them with my medical opinion based on recent scientific recommendations and guidelines," she said.
