Providing women with adequate medical visitation time, appropriate medical information and services to improve their overall gynecologic health and quality of life across their entire lifespan.
Shared decision making between a doctor and their patient is a philosophy Dr. Elkattah practices daily.
“Offering a patient-centered experience is what my practice is all about,” he said. “I listen first, understand a patient’s main concern, and offer a wide range of medical and surgical options to address their gynecological needs.”
Dr. Elkattah was raised to appreciate genuine, hard-working people. He’s also always been intrigued by science. Those two things made a career in medicine an obvious choice for him.
“I strongly believe that we are social beings in need of human interactions,” he said. “Medicine is a perfect marriage of science and humanism for me.”
The specialty of OB/GYN also seemed to be a perfect fit.
“I grew up around many amazing women, including my mother, who was a great role model,” Dr. Elkattah explained. “Because of her, I have a profound appreciation of the role women play in our lives and societies.”
