Rebecca has a passion for helping women during their breast cancer journey. She understands that plastic and reconstructive surgery are important parts of that journey. She’s also humbled by the trust patients place in her at vulnerable times of their lives.
“I try to meet patients where they are, listen attentively and guide them with concern and compassion,” she said.
During high school, Rebecca met a physician’s assistant at a small clinic in her hometown in rural Wisconsin. She researched the profession after that meeting and decided it was the career path for her. 
“I’ve always enjoyed the sciences, and I like helping people,” she said.
After nearly 12 years in obstetrics and gynecology, Rebecca transitioned to plastic surgery. She enjoys the balance of both clinic and surgical time.
Rebecca grew up on a 96-acre farm in Ellsworth, Wisconsin. She is married and has two grown daughters. When not in the office, you might find her volunteering at a local animal rescue. She also enjoys making pottery, photography, traveling, gardening and spending time outdoors.
