I believe in building relationships with the people under my care. Establishing trust contributes to a better experience and can help to reduce stress.
Renell fits right in with this community. She loves the close knit feeling Bloomington/Normal offers. She hopes the people that come to her for care also feel that closeness.
“An appointment with me is comfortable,” she said. “People tend to open up to me easily.”
When her career started in a neonatal intensive care unit, she was drawn to caring for the most vulnerable. Now, she’s able to care for mothers as well.
“I feel fortunate to be caring for high risk pregnant women,” she said. “Together, we can optimize their health and wellness.”
Renell grew up in Chicago. She is married with two grown daughters and a granddaughter. In her spare time, she enjoys volunteering with the Special Olympics.
