My approach is to balance current guidelines with person-specific needs. My goal is to partner with patients as individuals and help them set and achieve goals to promote wellness.
Sandra grew up in Vermilion County and has worked in health care in the Danville community for almost 25 years.
"I love the people. I believe OSF can offer innovation and quality care, yet still provide a personal touch," she said. "The office is a family away from home."
Sandra followed her mother's footsteps into nursing, "and it was one of the best decisions I ever made."
She fell in love with family medicine while doing a clinical rotation in a family practice office. "I really love helping people to achieve their wellness goals."
During an appointment with her, "patients should feel they can talk to me and be heard. I want them to know that I will encourage lifestyle changes to improve their health as a first-line treatment over medications," she said.
Sandra is married with three daughters and two dogs. She enjoys reading in her free time.
