My approach is to get to know my patients and what good health looks like to them. This helps guide my care and treatment of individuals.
Sarah started with OSF HealthCare back in 2015 as a room service attendant. Her desire to make a meaningful impact on the lives of others led her to enroll in Saint Francis Medical Center College of Nursing.
“Medicine, to me, represents the perfect blend of compassion and scientific reasoning,” she said. “And I am passionate about both.”
Her decision to focus on internal medicine as an advanced practice nurse grew out of a love for promoting health, providing care for a wide range of illnesses and building relationships.
“What I find fulfilling is the ability to have a positive impact on the lives of others by addressing their health care needs and developing meaningful connections along the way,” Sarah said.
During an appointment, she wants you to feel heard, valued and at ease.
Sarah is married with more than one fur baby. She enjoys walking the dogs, drinking coffee, watching TV shows with her husband, reading and doing arts and crafts. She also loves a good joke, so feel free to test out any new material on her during an appointment.
