My approach involves listening to families’ concerns and working together to provide patient-specific, quality care in a compassionate manner.
Dr. Mulvey began her career at OSF HealthCare in 2017 at the Pediatric After Hours Clinic. She is looking forward to creating strong, lifelong relationships with her patients and coworkers at Morton Pediatrics. Treating the whole patient and not just specific problem areas is her new focus.
“I want families to feel genuinely welcomed and know that I’m here to listen to their concerns. I want to empower parents with the parenting skills they need to raise confident, mature, healthy and happy young adults,” said Dr. Mulvey. “I found pediatrics to be the most fun specialty where I could be myself. While no one wants to see any child seriously ill, their ability to heal and return to life as it was is so rewarding. Much of pediatrics is preventive medicine, and working with parents on what to expect is extremely gratifying.”
Dr. Mulvey is married to Tom, and they moved to the Peoria area from Chicago in 2000. They have three near-adult children and three dogs, and they make family time a priority. Dr. Mulvey’s hobbies include healthy cooking, improving her golf game, fitness and hiking the many U.S. national parks.
