Dr. Simmons was drawn to family practice because of her love of variety.
“It includes every aspect of medicine from head to toe and conception to death,” she said. “It is never boring, always challenging and forever rewarding.”
She has two grown daughters and a grandson. Dr. Simmons loves to bike, hike, travel and do the New York Times crossword puzzle daily.
