Stephanie chose to work at OSF HealthCare because of its outstanding reputation of providing patients with the best medical care.
“During an appointment, I like to hear patients talk about themselves, their lifestyle and what their current needs are, so we can discuss the appropriate plan of care,” she said. “It always makes my day when patient's return and state their health has improved since their last visit with me.”
Gastroenterology is fascinating to Stephanie because it plays a role in other systems of the body. She enjoys helping her patients with alternative methods in addition to medication and diagnostic testing.
Stephanie grew up in Kaneville, Illinois, and is married with three children, two dogs, and a few cats.
In her free time, she is a varsity girls basketball coach at a small school which allows her to continue being involved in sports.
