I enjoy meeting patients, addressing their health care needs and advising them on how best to keep themselves healthy.
Susan lived most of her life in Peoria and is happy to work with a strong multidisciplinary team to provide patients with exceptional and compassionate care. With an extensive team, every aspect of the patient's care can be addressed, including treatment, social issues, financial concerns and spiritual needs.
“At every appointment, the patient's medical issues are addressed thoroughly and in language they can understand,” she said. “The patient is given plenty of time to ask questions and then together we will come up with a good plan for treatment. I want patients to know that I will care for the whole person and not just focus on their medical issues.”
Susan chose a career in Women's Health so she could help women live long, healthy and active lives. There are so many exciting opportunities in women's health, including caring for pregnant patients and new moms, providing advice on cancer prevention and treatment of disease.
She raised four children in Peoria but they now live all across the country. She supports the arts in Peoria including Peoria Players, Corn Stock Theater, the Peoria Symphony Orchestra as well as the live music scene.
Susan works on a care team for women who have gynecologic concerns, including cancer. We will diagnose, treat and follow patients and help them on their journey to allow them to live their best life.
