Board certified in gastroenterology, Dr. Talha Qureshi joined Rockford Gastroenterology Associates in 2022. He graduated with the highest honors in biochemistry from his undergraduate studies at Illinois Institute of Technology. He then completed his medical degree at Rush Medical College in Chicago and his residency in internal medicine and fellowship in gastroenterology at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston.

During his training, he published numerous studies in peer-reviewed journals and presented at multiple national meetings. He continues to be dedicated to improving patient care and educating his patients. 

He received distinguished national awards as a gastroenterology fellow, including the Golden Scope Award from the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy and the EndoTitan Award from the American College of Gastroenterology. He was also selected for the Gold Humanism Honor Society for his compassionate care toward his patients.
