I strive to provide compassionate care that respects each patient’s preferences, goals and values, ensuring they feel heard, supported and involved in every step of their health journey.
Taylor has lived with Type 1 diabetes for most of her life, and her health journey is what inspired her to pursue a career in medicine. It is important to have a provider who truly listens and cares and she works closely with each patient to manage diabetes using both medicine and lifestyle changes. Education is a big part of every appointment, and Taylor takes time to help people find what works best for them. She chose this specialty because she knows firsthand how tough it can be to live with diabetes. Taylor proudly uses an insulin pump and continuous glucose monitor (CGM) to manage her own health, and she shares her experience to support others.
Taylor grew up in Bettendorf, Iowa, and now lives with her significant other and their two cats, Oliver and Mookie. In her free time, she enjoys visiting family in the Quad Cities and helping others live healthier lives.
Areas of Expertise: Diabetes management, A1C monitoring, insulin pump and continuous glucose monitor use, screening and management of complications related to diabetes
