Dr. Hernandez is a dedicated orthopedic specialist who provides compassionate, efficient care tailored to the unique needs of each patient. He strives to create a welcoming environment where patients are treated like friends and family — an approach that reflects the close-knit community he serves.

Growing up in Rockford, Dr. Hernandez was drawn to medicine by a desire to make a positive impact and embrace the challenges of a dynamic field. He found his calling in orthopedics after being inspired by his own experiences with sports and sports injuries. Helping patients regain mobility and return to their favorite activities, whether through non-operative or surgical treatment, is the most rewarding aspect of his work.

Outside of work, Dr. Hernandez is happily married and the proud father of four children, including triplet boys and a daughter. He actively coaches youth sports and volunteers as a football coach at Boylan High School.
