Dr. Weglarz is a big believer in relationship building. She enjoys forming connections with people in life and in her practice.
“I love that this community is large enough to host many events but small enough that you can get to know people along the way,” she said.
When meeting with Dr. Weglarz at the office, you will leave knowing more about your diagnosis and treatment than when you arrived.
“I want you to understand what is happening with you,” she said. “Please ask as many questions as you want during your visit.”
Circumstances during her childhood led Dr. Weglarz to pursue a career in medicine. She was placed to live with her aunt temporarily because of substance abuse issues in loved ones around her.
“Temporary turned into long-term, and I grew up watching my aunt provide for me and her community as an EMT,” she said. “During my senior year in high school, she was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s Disease. I knew then that I wanted to learn more about medicine to help both my aunt and my community.”
Dr. Weglarz is married with two sons. She enjoys coffee, crocheting, board games and spending time with family and friends.
My approach to care centers around the first rule of osteopathic medicine: the body is a unit; the person is a unit of body, mind and spirit.
