I believe in our Sisters' Mission and strive to treat every patient with the greatest care and love.
With a love for science and interacting with people, Dr. Kenney pursued family medicine because of the variety of care he can provide.
The Mission-oriented care championed by OSF HealthCare allows physicians to manage all patients with cutting-edge resources, he said.
"I have worked in all models of family medicine over the years," Dr. Kenney said. "I didn't pursue a subspecialty because I feared I would get bored. I like dealing with all types of issues and trying to connect the dots when seemingly unrelated fields of medicine are, in fact, more related than meets the eye."
A firm believer in the family medicine model, he tries "not to fix what is not broken," he said. "I tend to get closer to individuals who are on society's edge and hope a little positive input can go a long way."
Dr. Kenney and his wife, Teresa, have five grown kids and stay busy with their grandkids. When not working, he enjoys cycling, taking walks and swimming.
