It's important to Dr. Leonard to listen to his patients, provide them with options and work together to solve any problems and concerns.
He was drawn to podiatry because of the variety of patients he sees and treats. "There are many types of problems and challenges that give me great pleasure to treat and solve," he said. "I enjoy the many personalities of my patients."
Dr. Leonard has a special interest in surgery of the foot and ankle and wound care with limb salvage.
Married with three active boys who play baseball, basketball and wrestle. Dr. Leonard spends a lot of his free time in gyms and on the baseball field watching his kids participate in games and tournaments. He also runs regularly and enjoys swimming and other exercise.
Dr. Leonard grew up in Bloomington-Normal and serves as the Medical Director of the OSF Wound Clinic. He also serves on the alumni board of University High School.
