I dedicate as much time as possible to each patient, listening to and assessing problems and concerns as we work together to develop the best treatment plan.

Medicine seemed like a natural career path for Dr. Verplaeste because he has always loved science.
“I can immerse myself in science without sitting in a lab all day,” he said. “I also love to work with both adults and children and this allows me to do that.”
Dr. Verplaeste grew up in Geneseo, Illinois. He is married with a daughter. He loves traveling, trying new restaurants, gardening and watching college football (Go Irish!).
