Zeny knew from a young age that she wanted to become a nurse. She wanted to have the skills to care for her family when they were sick. Most of her nursing experience has been in intensive care units, particularly in the cardiovascular department, which led her to specialize in cardiology.

Zeny takes a thorough approach during her visits with patients. She believes it is important to have open conversations about their treatment plans and encourages their input. Zeny wants her patients to feel confident that she is "acting on their behalf and truly values their opinions."

Zeny was born and raised in the Philippines. She moved to the United States in 1994. She is married with two children and two dogs. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, trying different ethnic cuisines and fishing.
