Dr. James Buschbach is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon serving patients in Oak Lawn, Evergreen Park, Illinois, and the South Side Chicago communities. He specializes in joint pain and hip and knee replacement. He also performs arthroscopic surgery and helps patients recover from fractures. With a patient first approach and years of surgical experience, Dr. Buschbach is dedicated to helping individuals get back to the activities they love.

Originally from Oak Lawn, Dr. Buschbach is proud to offer world-class orthopedic services with a hometown feel. He values the resilience and honesty of the local community and is passionate about delivering high-quality care close to home.

Dr. Buschbach takes time to listen to each patient’s story, working together to create care plans that improve their quality of life. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time outdoors, attending pub trivia and doing crossword puzzles with his wife, Jackie, a local dentist, and their two children.
